Ciro Rinaldi, MD, PhD, Lincoln County Hospital, Lincoln, UK, discusses RESTORE trial (NCT05037760) findings showing elritercept seems to reset the myelofibrosis bone marrow microenvironment via the TGF-beta pathway, driving a dual response in both hemoglobin and platelet levels – a benefit rarely seen together in patients pre-treated with ruxolitinib. Prof. Rinaldi also notes early signals of disease-modifying potential, though longer follow-up is needed to confirm its impact on disease progression.
