AlloSCT in TP53-mutated AML: from patient selection to post-transplant care

Pramila Krishnamurthy, MA, FRCPath, MRCP, PhD, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, presents the key considerations for allogeneic stem cell transplant (alloSCT) in patients with TP53-mutated acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Dr Krishnamurthy discusses patient selection, the use of genomics to refine prognosis, bridging therapies, and optimal conditioning studies and graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) prophylaxis. She also highlights post-transplant measurable residual disease (MRD) monitoring, maintenance, and donor lymphocyte infusion, as well as novel approaches such as the Phase I/II GRACE trial (NCT07372885). This presentation took place at the 8th International Workshop on Acute Leukemias (iwAL) in Cambridge, MA.
