IMS 2023 | Addressing nephrotoxicity in agents commonly used to treat multiple myeloma

Nelson Leung, MD, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, discusses how lenalidomide and carfilzomib are associated with renal toxicity when used in the treatment of multiple myeloma. Dr Leung also reports on the results of a recent review which found no evidence that bortezomib causes any significant renal toxicity. This interview took place at the 20th International Myeloma Society (IMS) Annual Meeting, held in Athens, Greece.
