ICLE 2022 | An overview of OverCITE-seq in T-cell therapies

Mateusz Legut, PhD, New York Genome Center, New York, NY, describes the development of single-cell phenotyping technologies including OverCITE-seq and its application in the development of next-generation T-cell therapies. The first generation of single-cell genomic techniques, CITE-seq, simultaneously assessed surface protein levels as well as carried out RNA sequencing, whereas ECCITE-seq measured changes in the transcriptome via CRISPR screens. The third generation of single-cell phenotyping, OverCITE-seq, measures levels of overexpressed genes and their effect on T-cells. This interview took place at the International Conference on Lymphocyte Engineering (ICLE) 2022.
