EHA 2026 | The evolving role of momelotinib in myelofibrosis: insights from post hoc analyses of pivotal trials

Prithviraj Bose, MD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, discusses the evolving role of momelotinib in the treatment of intermediate- and high-risk myelofibrosis (MF), highlighting its spleen- and symptom-related benefits and its ability to improve anemia. Dr Bose shares insights from post hoc analyses of the pivotal Phase III SIMPLIFY-1 and MOMENTUM trials (NCT01969838 and NCT04173494, respectively), which are helping to inform where this agent fits best within the treatment algorithm. This interview took place at the 31st Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) in Stockholm, Sweden.
