BSH 2024 | Exciting therapeutic approaches in the AML space

In this video, Steven Knapper, DM, FRCPath, MRCP, BMBCh, Cardiff University, Cardiff, Wales, UK, briefly outlines some exciting novel therapeutic approaches for treating acute myeloid leukemia (AML). With an influx of novel agents and targets and increasing knowledge of disease genotypes, selecting targets for subgroups of patients with AML has become increasingly complex. Prof. Knapper highlights the menin inhibitors and venetoclax combinations with intensive chemotherapy backbones as promising strategies for patients. This interview took place at the 64th Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Society for Haematology (BSH) Congress in Liverpool, UK.
