Ruben Mesa, MD, UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, San Antonio, TX, discusses the use of stem cell transplantation in myelofibrosis as evaluated in the 2021 Transplantation & Cellular Therapy (TCT) virtual meeting. Dr Mesa explores novel therapeutic combinations in myelofibrosis, the importance of prognosticating patients that will show good responses to stem cell transplantation, and how transplantation fits into the treatment landscape of myelofibrosis. This interview took place during the Transplantation & Cellular Therapy (TCT) 2021 Meetings.
