Ioannis Kostopoulos, MSc, PhD, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens, Greece, discusses the results of a study which indicated that increased levels of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) are a strong prognostic indicator for both transplant-eligible and transplant-ineligible patients with multiple myeloma. This interview took place at the 20th International Myeloma Society (IMS) Annual Meeting, held in Athens, Greece.
