Mercedes Gasior Kabat, MD, Hospital Universitario La Paz, Madrid, Spain, talks on the findings a study investigating selective T-cell depletion targeting CD45RA for patients with pediatric non-malignant hematologic diseases undergoing HLA-mismatched hematopoietic stem cell transplant. Dr Kabat reports that whilst some improvements were seen in this study, further research is required. This interview took place at the virtual European Hematology Association (EHA) Congress 2021.
