MDS 2023 | Similarities between the WHO and ICC classifications for MDS & the need to create a unified approach

Eric Solary, MD, Gustave Roussy Institute, Paris, France, discusses the debate surrounding the two recently released classification systems for myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) by the International Consensus Classification (ICC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Prof. Solary explains that these two systems are highly similar and should be combined to facilitate MDS classification.
