Zachary Hunter, PhD, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, discusses a multi-omic study investigating genomic and transcriptomic alterations that underlie subtype classification and disease evolution in Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WM). Dr Hunter highlights the highly disorganized gene expression pattern on CD19-expressing Waldenström’s B-cells, which manifests in early disease stages. This interview took place at the 65th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition, held in San Diego, CA.
