Christopher Dandoy, MD, MSc, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati, OH, discusses cardiac complications following stem cell transplantation (SCT), highlighting the importance of identifying patients at risk of cardiac toxicity and mitigating these complications. Dr Dandoy explains that cardiac complications often arise as a result of thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA) following SCT. This interview took place at the Transplantation & Cellular Therapy (TCT) Meetings of ASTCT™ and CIBMTR® 2022 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
