Mattia D’Agostino, MD, University of Turin, Turin, Italy, briefly discusses the most recent revision of the International Staging System (R2-ISS) of the European Myeloma Network (within the HARMONY project), and comments on how this revised tool will allow for improved risk stratification of patients with multiple myeloma (MM).
