Nelson Leung, MD from the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN discusses the next steps for renal complications in multiple myeloma (MM). According to Prof Leung, the renal conditions are rare and often under diagnosed in MM and he further discusses the EuLITE (NCT00700531), MYRE (NCT01208818) and KEEPER (NCT02358980) trials looking into the use extracorporeal devices to help remove light chains in addition to chemotherapy.
