ERIC CLL 2026 | Biological profiling in CLL: which emerging markers are changing management?

Richard Rosenquist, MD, PhD, Karolinska Institute, Solna, Sweden, discusses the current state of biological profiling in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), highlighting established markers used in clinical practice and included in guidelines. Prof. Rosenquist notes that other markers, including complex karyotype and specific mutations like IGHV3-21 R110, are being researched and may have potential as prognostic tools, but require further definition and study. This interview took place at the 2026 ERIC International Meeting in Barcelona, Spain.
