ESH MPN 2026 | Advantages of the redefined MPN continuum vs traditional classification methods

Yu-Hung Wang, MD, PhD, National Taiwan University Cancer Center, Taipei City, Taiwan, discusses the advantages of an updated framework for defining the myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) continuum over traditional classification methods. Dr Wang outlines that in this model, MPN scores and pseudo-analysis were used to provide insight into disease evolution trajectories, which can help to improve clinical decision-making. This interview took place at the ESH 11th Translational Research Conference on Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (ESH MPN 2026) in Estoril, Portugal.
