Jesus San Miguel, MD, Universidad de Navarra, Navarra, Spain, discusses the different treatment approaches for fit and frail patients. For patients that are fit and active, regardless of whether they are transplant eligible or not, treatment should be as soon as possible and aimed to eradicate all the disease. For older, frail patients, treatment should be aimed to be convenient, improve quality of life and offer the best palliative care. This interview took place during the Controversies in Multiple Myeloma (COMy) 2020 Virtual World Congress.
