Michelle Kenyon, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, gives an overview of some of the most exciting nursing sessions that took place at this year’s EBMT-EHA CAR T-cell Meeting. This included an update on available chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapies in various hematological malignancies, as well as a patient experience session and a treatment outcome influencers session. Ms Kenyon comments on the importance of learning from patient experiences and explains that although there were some very interesting discussions between healthcare professionals, patient advocates, and patients at the end of each session, she hopes that there can be more opportunities to network and interact with colleagues at next year’s EBMT-EHA CAR T-cell meeting. This interview took place at the EBMT-EHA 4th European CAR T-cell Meeting which was held virtually in 2022.
