Toby Eyre
Academic History
Toby Eyre, MBChB (Hons), DipMedEd, MRCP (UK), FRCPath (UK), MD, is a Consultant Hematologist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Oxford, UK, specializing in the treatment of lymphoid malignancies. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Oxford, with a focus on early-phase clinical trials and biomarker research in aggressive lymphoid diseases. He later completed his hematology training in the Oxford Deanery and holds a postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education, reflecting his commitment to teaching and mentorship. Dr Eyre is a core member of the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) Low-Grade Lymphoma and Elderly High-Grade Lymphoma Clinical Studies Group in the UK. He also contributes to the British Society for Haematology (BSH) guideline writing groups for follicular lymphoma (FL) and post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders (PTLD).

Dr Eyre is a nationally recognized expert in the management of lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). His clinical and research efforts focus on advancing treatment outcomes through novel therapeutic strategies, biomarker-driven approaches, and optimization of therapy sequencing. He serves as principal investigator on multiple national trials and has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications.
