Academic history

Michael Dickinson, MBBS, DMedSc, FRACP, FRACPA, completed his medical training at the University of Western Australia, Perth, and trained as a Physician in Brisbane and London. He is now the Lead of the Aggressive Lymphoma Disease Group within Clinical Hematology at Peter MacCallum Cancer Center and Royal Melbourne Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.

Speaking on novel immunotherapies for aggressive lymphomas

Dr Dickinson has experience in a range of hematological malignancies but specializes in aggressive lymphomas and novel immunotherapies. He has been the principal investigator of numerous Phase I/II clinical trials of novel anticancer drugs.

Additionally, Dr Dickinson has clinical research interests in CAR T-cell and epigenetic modifiers in hematological malignancies, and has been involved in the improvement of the lymphoma assessment service for patients.
