Efstathios Kastritis, MD, University of Athens School of Medicine, Athens, Greece, discusses practical approaches to preventing and managing infections in patients with multiple myeloma. He reviews the importance of risk assessment, vaccination, antimicrobial prophylaxis, immunoglobulin replacement in selected patients, and early recognition and treatment of infections, particularly in those receiving bispecific antibody therapies. This interview took place at the 31st Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) in Stockholm, Sweden.
