ASCO 2026 | Insights into the use of purinostat mesylate in R/R DLBCL

Lijuan Chen, MD, PhD, West China Hospital, Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, shares insights into the potential of purinostat mesylate (PM), a potent HDAC inhibitor, in treating various cancers, including relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (R/R DLBCL) and solid tumors. Dr Chen highlights that PM has shown promising results as a monotherapy in Phase I and IIa trials for R/R DLBCL, and is now moving forward with Phase III registration in China. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
