In this video, Paresh Vyas, MRCP, FRCP, FRCPath, Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, University of Oxford, Oxford, UK, shares his views on promising therapeutic approaches for the treatment of elderly and transplant-ineligible patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), highlighting the potential for triplet regimens which involve the addition of an agent to the azacitidine and venetoclax standard of care. Prof. Vyas also highlights the potential for using measurable residual disease (MRD) and the challenges associated with using immunotherapy in AML.
