Kanti Rai, MD, from the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, Manhasset, NY, provides us an insight into how treatment and research into chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) has evolved over the past years, from a disease with no form of treatment and little interest in research, to one that has various therapy options and clinical trials being conducted. He ends on a hopeful and positive note and believes that the many questions concerning CLL will soon be answered, thanks to the new generation of young doctors and researchers. This video was recorded at the International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (iwCLL) 2017 in New York, NY.
