The field of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) has made major advancements in the past decade, and it looks like there are more to come. Here, Kanti Rai, MD, of the Feinstein Institute of Medical Research, Manhasset, NY, gives us an overview of the progress that has been made in the diagnosis and treatment of CLL, as well as looking towards the future in hopes of long-term complete remissions. This interview took place at the European Research Initiative on CLL (ERIC) International Meeting 2018, held in Barcelona, Spain.
