EHA 2023 | Goals and work of the EAHAD gene therapy working group

Michiel Coppens, MD, PhD, Amsterdam UMC, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, talks about the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD) gene therapy working group, highlighting their focus on accessibility to gene therapies. Dr Coppens also describes the ‘hub and spoke’ model for implementing gene therapies, which EAHAD promotes alongside producing educational material regarding gene therapies. This interview took place at the 28th Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) 2023 in Frankfurt, Germany.
