Javier Carbone, MD, Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón, Madrid, Spain, discusses the immunological benefits of cytomegalovirus (CMV)-specific immunoglobulins. Dr Carbone describes how these products can increase anti-CMV cellular responses and their significance during the COVID-19 pandemic.
