EBMT 2024 | The MAGIC algorithm probability to predict outcomes at the onset of GvHD

James Ferrara, MD, DSc, The Tisch Cancer Institute, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York City, NY, introduces a system for the risk stratification of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), particularly in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. The MAGIC algorithm probability (MAP) predicts overall mortality at 6 months and response to treatment at day 28 based on the MAGIC composite score, which considers clinical features as well as biomarkers at the onset of GvHD. This interview took place at the 50th Annual Meeting of the EBMT in Glasgow, Scotland.
