Florian Simon, MD, University Hospital Cologne, Cologne, Germany, discusses the final analysis of the CLL-FRAIL trial (NCT04883749) of acalabrutinib in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) who are ≥80 years old or considered frail. He highlights more than three years of follow-up and reviews the durable efficacy, favorable tolerability, and sustained improvements in frailty and quality of life.
