ASH 2023 | Genomic characterization of newly diagnosed AML in patients over the age of 60

In this video, Fieke Hoff, MD, PhD, UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX, shares insights into a study investigating the mutational landscape of patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) aged 60 years or older. This study demonstrated significant differences in the frequency of mutations that occur in this population, including TP53 and NPM1 mutations. This interview took place at the 65th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition, held in San Diego, CA.
