EHA 2018 VJHemHeroes winner Nikoleta Bizymi, a Masters student from the University Hospital of Crete, Heraklion, Greece, tells us about her poster from EHA 2018: ‘Low proportion of myeloid derived suppressor cell populations in the peripheral blood of patients with chronic idiopathic neutropenia’. Nikoleta shares her ambition for this research to be translated into the clinic, with biomarkers or treatments identified to benefit patients in the future. This interview was recorded at the 23rd congress of the European Haematology Association (EHA) 2018, held in Stockholm, Sweden.
