Carla Casulo, MD, University of Rochester Medical Center-Wilmot Cancer Institute, Rochester, NY, discusses a single-center study examining the disparities in healthcare utilization of adolescents and young adults with lymphoma compared to older adult patients. It is necessary to address the high acute healthcare utilization in this patient population and provide adolescents and young adults with the required support and multidisciplinary care early after their diagnosis.
