ASH 2023 | Disparities in healthcare utilization between young and older adult patients with lymphoma

Carla Casulo, MD, University of Rochester Medical Center-Wilmot Cancer Institute, Rochester, NY, discusses a single-center study examining the disparities in healthcare utilization of adolescents and young adults with lymphoma compared to older adult patients. It is necessary to address the high acute healthcare utilization in this patient population and provide adolescents and young adults with the required support and multidisciplinary care early after their diagnosis. This interview took place at the 65th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition, held in San Diego, CA.
