At the Myeloma 2015 meeting, Prof Philippe Moreau (Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nantes, France) discusses prospective treatment strategies for early-stage multiple myeloma (MM). Research suggests that patients with the highest risk of MM should be treated like patients with symptomatic disease. For smoldering MM, research on a new number of treatment options is ongoing.
