EHA 2021 | Gene therapy as a future treatment for hemophilia

Wolfgang Miesbach, MD, PhD, University Hospital Frankfurt, Frankfurt, Germany, discusses why he thinks gene therapy is the most promising future treatment for hemophilia. Prof. Miesbach reports that single administrations of gene therapies have the potential to enable patients to cease prophylaxis and “lead a normal life”.
