In this video, Tapan Kadia, MD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, discusses the growing importance of maintenance therapy in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and the need to continue improving approaches to maintenance therapy. Dr Kadia then shares some findings from a study which evaluated the safety and efficacy of low-dose azacitidine and venetoclax maintenance in patients with AML.
