Ioannis Ntanasis-Stathopoulos, MD, PhD, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens, Greece, discusses the results of a study which demonstrated that high levels of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) at diagnosis are predictive of adverse prognosis in patients with both transplant-eligible and transplant-ineligible multiple myeloma. This interview took place at the 20th International Myeloma Society (IMS) Annual Meeting, held in Athens, Greece.
