BSH 2022 | COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness in transplant patients

In this video, Keith Wilson, MBBS, FRCP, FRCPath, Cardiff University, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, Cardiff, Wales, briefly discusses patient response to COVID-19 vaccination post-transplantation, and the potential impact of booster vaccines. Dr Wilson explains that there is not enough data regarding the efficacy of vaccination in these highly vulnerable patients, making it difficult to give clear guidance to patients and the need for more data in this area. This interview took place at the 62nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Society for Haematology (BSH) 2022, in Manchester, UK.
