John Murray, RGN, MSc, Christie Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester, UK, describes how CAR-T therapy is still relatively new to nurses across Europe, highlighting the importance of understanding the basics of the treatment so that side effects are reported and appropriately managed. Mr Murray goes on to explain that CAR-T centers have systems in place that help support both nurses and patients. This interview took place at the 48th Annual Meeting of the European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) 2022, which was held virtually.
