Antonio Palumbo, MD, from the University of Turin, Turin, Italy provides an overview of the diagnostic criteria for smouldering myeloma. According to Dr Palumbo, hematological test plus a M-protein evaluation are the starting point and if indicated, this is followed by a bone marrow biospy and low-dose CT scan.
