CAR-T Meeting 2022 | The role of CAR-T therapy and HSCT in autoimmune disorders

Raffaella Greco, MD, PhD, San Raffaele Hospital, Milan, Italy, comments on the importance of conducting clinical trials and creating guidelines to define the position of new cellular therapies in the treatment algorithm of autoimmune disorders, especially in the context of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). According to Dr Greco, both chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy and HSCT will have a role in the treatment of autoimmune disorders. This interview took place at the EBMT-EHA 4th European CAR T-cell Meeting which was held virtually in 2022.
