In this video, Borja Puertas-Martínez, MD, University Hospital of Salamanca, Salamanca, Spain, discusses the future direction of CAR T-cell therapy in the field of multiple myeloma (MM) and comments on whether he believes this therapeutic approach will present a curative option for patients. Due to the heterogeneity of this malignancy, Dr Puertas-Martínez is skeptical that CAR-T therapy alone will provide a cure.
