Francois-Xavier Mahon, MD, PhD, University of Bordeaux, Bordeaux, France, comments on some of the key challenges in the field of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), including managing patients in resource-challenged countries, improving patients’ quality of life (QoL) and effectively eradicating all leukemic stem cells to achieve a cure of the disease. This interview took place at the 24th Annual John Goldman Conference on Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (ESH CML) held in Mandelieu-La Napoule, France.
