In this discussion chaired by Kedar Kirtane, MD, experts Laura Oswald, PhD, and Heather Jim, PhD, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Tampa, FL, talk on the importance of studying patient-reported outcomes in CAR-T recipients prospectively, highlighting the key results of two studies exploring patient-reported outcomes using different measures including biometric data, patient-reported outcomes surveys, as well as symptomatic toxicities of cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurotoxicity, and discussing the possibility of standardizing symptoms across patients treated with CAR-T. This discussion took place at the 4th International Workshop on CAR-T (iwCAR-T) 2022 held in Tampa, FL.
