BSH 2023 | Selecting costimulatory domains for CAR-T products
Robert Weinkove, MA (Cantab), MBBS (Hons), PhD, FRACP, FRCP, Malaghan Institute of Medical Research, Wellington, New Zealand, briefly discusses the role of costimulatory domains in CAR-T cell products and how to select for these. Dr Weinkove highlights costimulatory domains commonly used in CAR-T products, including CD28 and 4-1BB, and explains that adjusting these may have an impact on efficacy and toxicity.
