Carmela Dell’Aversana, PhD, LUM University, Bari, Italy, discusses the epigenetic activity of UVI5008 in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), highlighting its ability to selectively reprogram chromatin and suppress BTK transcription. She explores how this dual enzymatic and epigenetic mechanism may offer therapeutic advantages in relapsed or refractory disease, including activity in TP53-altered CLL. This interview took place at the ESH CLL 2026 congress in Stockholm, Sweden.
