Camille Vanessa Edwards, MD, Boston University School of Medicine, Boston, MA, talks on the management of cardiac AL amyloidosis, highlighting the importance of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) in treating this disease. In addition, Dr Edwards comments on the unmet needs in this space, explaining that it is crucial to better predict the risk of developing amyloidosis and to diagnose patients earlier in the disease course.
