ASH 2022 | Assessing & improving the symptoms of patients with MPNs

Lucia Masarova, MD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, discusses the importance of improving strategies to measure and treat the symptoms of patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs). Dr Masarova outlines the benefits of the MPN-10 tool, which is utilized to assess the symptoms of patients with MPNs. Dr Masarova also highlights that some therapies, including interferon, which evidently modify the disease do not improve symptoms of MPNs. This interview took place at the 64th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition congress in New Orleans, LA.
