ASH 2021 | Updates from the NHLBI-MDS Natural History study

In this video, Mikkael Sekeres, MD, MS, Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute, Cleveland, OH, discusses the NHLBI-MDS Natural History Study (NCT02775383), which is a prospective study that aims to collect valuable data from patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and build a detailed biorepository to allow for a better understanding of this disease. Dr Sekeres then draws focus on the outcomes of MDS patients in this study who contracted COVID-19, and how vaccination may impact the future of these patients. This interview took place at the 63rd ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition congress in Atlanta, GA, 2021.
