Mikkael Sekeres, MD, MS, Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute, Cleveland, OH, highlights an important finding from a study which investigated the advantage of using a pediatric regimen to treat adolescents and young adults with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Dr Sekeres discusses the under-enrolment of Hispanic patients in this trial, and the importance of designing future clinical trials to ensure that they are open at sites that are reflective of the entire population.
