I think that one of the major issues for these patients is to reach transfusion independence and we need to target, to focus on this target. The patient needs to be treated very early in order to reach the major response rate and to improve quality of life and survival. I think that the general overview of treating lower-risk MDS should be to increase overall survival as well as cytopenias and I think that we have to identify better why these patients are not responding to different drugs and need to increase the response rates because they are always insufficient for the patients...
